Loc Log #22.......21 months
I don't have a lot to report except my hair is still growing like crazy! I really do love my locs! Recently, I've started using Jamaican Black Castor Oil, and I must say that it is simply amazing. I can really see and feel a difference in my hair. It is very soft, and in some ways thicker at my roots. I feel like it's a bit stronger considering I have interlocked in about two months. I'm hoping to interlock this week.....will probably take all week. Nonetheless, loving the locs! Pictures!
Thinking I may really need to get on the retightening. But it's cool.....love it anyway.

ReplyDeleteThanks all! @Felicia These are pipecleaner curls. I don't do this very often because it takes too long! As we speak, I'm sitting under the dryer with rods. It didn't take nearly as long to roll with those. I don't have a regimen set in stone. I shampoo my hair and scalp when I no longer pass the 'finger nail test'. I try to clarify with ACV or a good clarifying shampoo (Paul Mitchell 3) once or twice a month....depending on how much buildup I may have accumulated. As far as the castor oil goes, I mix it with another oil that is lighter such as Jojoba oil and put it on my scalp....maybe once no more than twice a week. Sorry it took so long to respond, I've been dealing with a family illness. Thanks for your patience.
